The point of this article is for me to help myself articulate the 3 different levels of interacting with reality, the pros and cons of each, and why Lenscoding has become the staple and foundational process for transforming human behaviour at Reality Mechanics by effectively shifting your experience of your current circumstance as the primary goal.

Let’s begin with Achievement.
The World of High Performance 1.0
This is the world created by High Achiever Conditioning process where a child learns early on in life that the best way to get attention, validation, love, applause, and to escape being criticized or ignored is to do something nice for others.
It creates almost a pre-verbal program that says “I’m only valuable when I’m useful, when I produce, move and perform” and solidifies the secret hidden driving mechanism behind most achievers and overachievers.
This world is where you focus on discipline, outcomes, consistency, suppressing and ignoring what your emotions could be trying to communicate because you know deep down if you allowed them to speak you’d end up lazy and useless.
So you prioritize progress towards results, action, movement, visible momentum, and even the appearance of being busy rather than the effectiveness of that movement and the achievement of results themselves.
Especially focusing on the internal conversation that you need to sacrifice, grind, toughen up, ignore the pain because in the end it’ll all be worth it.
And you better never give up!
Because you know that it must all work out at some point.
Otherwise if you give up, stop, slow down, nothing will ever change anyway… so might as well continue grinding with the old strategy becoming almost psychologically blind to the fact that billions of people work really hard, two and even three full time jobs of hard manual labour, and don’t have much to show for it.
The mind becomes blind to all these other people who are in the same chase, focusing on the few who make it, miraculously, and then speak from stage saying their results only came because they worked hard and never gave up.
You’re lucky if you actually enjoy the work you’re in. At least you have that going for you. For many others, who loathe, and can’t wait to win this game they’ve committed to play so they can finally relax, stop, slow down, and finally enjoy some travel and living with their friends and family.
Those same friends and family who we accidentally, yet on purpose, alienate in our chase for this wonderful future we’re after.
What do you think, a fair description of the World of Achievement and all of the High Performance 1.0 strategy you read in most popular success books? I welcome your feedback, and I’m curious what your “yea but” could be to continue to justify living in such a world of performance.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying this is a bad form of existence, work, productivity and contribution. I’m simply sharing some of the colours of this flavour of reality that we don’t usually see or unconsciously choose to ignore.
So at some point even a slight possibility of a different conscious choice becomes possible.
Because until we even see that another way IS possible, the survival-biased human brain will continue to filter out things we know we’d rather not see.
Let’s move on to the next phase of perceived reality creation, and that’s…
Introducing the untold secrets of the World of Manifestation
If you’re a teacher of manifestation, I apologize in advance.
I’m not saying manifestation doesn’t work. What I’m about to describe is that the way manifestation is being taught today is slightly… misguided.
You don’t have to read this, listen to me, or look at any other point of view if you have life working for you exactly as you’d prefer it to be. Frankly you don’t need this even if your life isn’t working exactly as you’d like it to… because even that is a beautiful experience.
But let’s see how this works.
Manifest your reality message is a really juicy promise.
Even me writing this I can see how “the reason why your manifestations haven’t worked is this…” can also be yet another magnetic statement.
No matter where you may be on your manifestation journey, similarly to how the mind becomes blind to obvious signals that show an opposite view in achievement, same happens here with manifestation.
You really really really want it work, and the fact that it hasn’t worked for you focuses the mind now on all possible solutions and reasons why it hasn’t and how to finally make it work.
Many times it works for a bit. Unexpected money, partners, relationships, opportunities, messages, responses… they do arrive.
As I said before manifestation works.
Just not consistently, and not always in the timing we’d love to see it show up!
You’ve probably seen teachers promising here’s how to make your life work, and then behind the scenes they’re struggling to make their own life make sense.
Many hide it. You spend long enough and go deep enough in relationship with such teachers, you’ll soon see it happen.
Some are beginning to authentically share their own life struggles while also inviting you to come do this, creating this interesting dynamic of “well I’m human, but here’s how it’s supposed to work, maybe at least it’ll work for you”.
And the coolest part is when manifestation teaching doesn’t seem to be working out for you, then it must be something that you’re doing wrong. So you gotta focus harder, release deeper, heal truer.
And if the manifestation teacher promises money outcomes, but their relationship doesn’t work, well then it’s the partner’s fault.
Still think manifestation promise is supposed to work? I’m simply stating the facts. You take what you’d like to take from this.
Because what I’ve come to see is that manifestation is already happening.
So the question moves from “how do i manifest” to “how does manifestation work already?” And the heck do I stop manifesting what I don’t want to see happen.
Hence you’re reading this on Reality Mechanics production.
Which brings us to…
Lenscoding, the process that brings your experience into reality
You may have heard that it’s the perception that creates your reality.
What is perception? A lens through which we view the world. An angle of perspective from which our world shows up to us.
Which moves from a single one Truth of existence to millions and billions of such angles of perspective, each person living in their version of truth and their unique experience of reality.
Which now creates an opening for a couple of distinctions and perception shifts.
- One is that there could be a “one reality” out there. Millions of perspectives of it creating millions of experiences. Which creates a distance and separation between “reality” and your “experience” of that reality.
- Two is that the next moment of said reality is significantly influenced by the various experiences occurring at any one time.
- Three is that it is the experience of reality that influences thoughts, emotions, and behaviour – not reality itself.
- Four is that no one single individual experience has any direct absolute control about what occurs next.
- And five, if there is no say and no control about what happens next, yet the next moment is significantly influenced by our experience of the current moment, and that experience is not the moment but the perception of it – then perhaps the most single highest leverage to influence the next moment is to address the angle of perception that controls the experience of the current moment, exactly as it is right now.
Hence Lenscoding – programming the lens through which we experience what occurs so we can influence the next moment that unfolds with a much greater effectiveness and efficiency to guide it to the path we’d rather prefer.
Which really becomes “not how do I manifest the next moment” but “how am i manifesting the current moment and how am i experiencing it” so I can invite a different moment next that I still have no say or control over.
Which sort of comes down to – We have no say about what occurs, and we’re not powerless to meet it so we can better influence what occurs next.
Setting the right expectation is quite significant
Both in achievement and manifestation world there’s quite an importance placed on specific goals, results and outcomes.
How do you know where you’re going if you don’t know where you’re going they say.
That makes sense when you think that it is the goals and external results and outcomes is what you’re after. But when you truly dissect and explore what has been motivating you to get to those goals, we end up with (oh but pretty much always) a certain state and feeling that you want to get out of those results and outcomes.
So the dynamic becomes let me feel this lack of this state right now, place it outside of me and the current moment, wrap it into the perceived external result and outcome that contains it, and now I’m really motivated to go right after it!
It’s a fun game to play. It truly is.
Generate lack now, put it out into the future into some event or circumstance, and voila… all of a sudden there’s now motivation to move, out there, towards that thing that I do not (perceivably) have right now.
You’ve certainly heard waiting for something out there to happen before you can feel something in here is not necessarily the most accurate of games that we play. You probably even find yourself saying that to yourself and others, too, “I’ll be happy when…” And you’re hearing others say it, seeing the real mechanics behind it that it may not actually deliver on the promise.
We just all seem to be keeping the hope alive.
And what if the entire result-based and outcome-focused achievement and manifestation game is rigged against you?
Making it a real experience that when the results do not arrive, or they’re delayed, we drop right back into the state of disappointment and frustration.
It just turns out that achievement game is played from the state of constant disappointment and frustration already, actually using that as the fuel of specifically disliking the status quo so that we move to a “better” and different future.
Manifestation is teaching you to not be disappointed or frustrated, yet saying to keep your eyes focused in the direction of results and outcome.
Show me a human who’s told to focus on the outcome and when the outcome doesn’t show up for long enough, they don’t feel disappointed or frustrated.
So the question becomes do you want to continue living your life in the experience of constant and consistent state of being disappointed and frustrated about pretty much everything that happens in life?
With achievement this now becomes a conscious choice, do you want to continue on this path?
With manifestation, how well do you think these disappointing states will support in the actual manifestation you’re focusing and releasing so hard in your attempt to “attract” them into you life?
Beginning to see my point a bit? That perhaps both of the games could well be served by releasing the need and the attachment for the specific outcomes we’re after.
It’s not about dismissing achievement or manifestation but completing them so they actually work.
When you set out to go after your goals, would it serve you better to be in the capacity to handle all that occurs and being in the state of excitement and curiosity?
With manifestation, how fast do you think reality will begin to mirror experiences when you’re in the state of play and exploration?
You may be beginning to see that what I’m expressing is that shifting focus from external outcomes and results to internal experience of each and every moment that occurs may be a much more fun, and most likely way more effective way to actually create results and outcomes you may already be after, and possibly even flying right passed them in the realm of potential your mind couldn’t even have imagined when you set out on your path in the first place!
So what do you think, specific results, outcomes and circumstance, or a more pleasant experience of anything that occurs?
There’s no right or wrong in this really. All a preference. Achievement and manifestation are really fun games to play. They really are, otherwise we wouldn’t have all the exhilaration and excitement playing them!
But now perhaps a new way may be opening up for you.
The unpressured way of Lenscoding, of learning how to separate and direct your experience, independent of your reality and circumstance.
Because when you learn to see the world from this model of existence, when you rewrite your lens to see that you can have a wonderful and pleasant, even curious and exciting experience in the face of even the worst possible scenarios that are placed in front of you… your full capacity can then be used to actually be with what is unfolding, discovering and dissolving any reasons for why that reality must be presenting itself for you – so it doesn’t have to continue any longer if it isn’t something you actually prefer!
Forgive my passion and excitement for this but I wish somebody was able to share with me directly this way of seeing the world when I was stumbling through experience after experience of consistent failure and disappointment when I was playing the games of achievement and manifestation, even when I was actually winning and getting the results I thought I wanted!
Now I leave you with an openly conscious choice which game you’d rather play going forward yourself.
Thing is, with Lenscoding and uplifting your every experience in each moment that unfolds doesn’t leave you out of playing the achievement or manifestation games. Rather such mechanics of reality integrate both into one, whole experience of aliveness in the moment, allowing and expressing whatever creation that wants to come through you, and from you, when you’re in pure excitement and overflow.
Curiously anticipating what unfolds next because you’re no longer waiting for some future moment to complete you or make you whole.
